The Secretariat of Civil Society Organizations Authority is pleased to declare that Mr. Passang Tshering, Executive Director, Bhutan Toilet Organization has been unanimously elected as an Authority Member (CSOs’ Representative) via election conducted on 15th November 2023.
He had secured 41 Yes ballots (100%) of the total 41 total ballots casted through the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), which was facilitated by the Election Commission of Bhutan.
As prescribed in the CSO Act (Amendment) 2022 (Section 14), his term of Membership will be for three years from this day forward.
The Secretariat extends its cordial welcome to Mr. Passang on board and offers best wishes for his unwavering dedication and vision that will resonate the Civil Society members, leading to a positive outcome for the betterment of the Civil Societies in Bhutan.
